SERBIA TO GET A PLATFORM FOR BUILDING SMART CITIES

The Office of Information Technologies and Electronic Management has announced a tender for the procurement of software solutions and equipment for the creation of "smart cities" in several cities in Serbia.

As indicated in the tender specification, the subject of the procurement is the delivery and implementation of a platform for smart cities, in line with European standards and trends in smart city areas, based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology, but also other modern ones Supports communication technologies, analyzes the information collected in real time and takes appropriate action based on the results obtained, writes ekapija.com.

The delivery and implementation of the platform is planned in several phases, and in the first phase there is a smart lighting service, smart parking, air quality monitoring service, city smart city portal, public transport service and adaptive Traffic Management Service, then the Incident Situation Registration Service and Service for Monitoring Meteorological Conditions, Service for Monitoring Torrents and Levels of Sewage Collectors, Waste Management Service, Service for Standard and Thermal Management of Aircraft, Pedestrian Safety Service and Service for Measuring Noise Levels.

The value of the work is estimated at 1.25 billion dinars (approximately 10.5 million euros).
