Photo: frusketerme.comThe franchise agreement by which the hotel "Fruške terme" in Vrdnik became the first "Movenpick" hotel in Serbia, was signed in the presence of Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, and the first hotel will welcome the first guests by the end of the year.
The signing of the agreement, signed by Kamil Jazbek, senior vice president and development director of the Northern Europe Accor group, and Milinko Cicmil, general director of the Promont group, was also attended by Swiss Ambassador Urs Schmid, French Deputy Ambassador Fatih Akcal and Serbian Chamber of Commerce President Marko Čadež.
The 201-room hotel is located in Vrdnik, on the edge of the oldest national park, and is part of one of the largest tourist investments in Serbia, "Fruške terme resort", which offers the largest spa, accommodation and conference center in the country.
The hotel offers its guests two restaurants and bars, a space for water activities and a spa, as well as a spacious congress center.
"Fruške terme" is the largest thermal and spa resort in Serbia and offers 12 pools with healing, thermo-mineral water that cover more than 3,000 square meters of water surface.
The spa area covers more than 10,000 square meters and more than 12 saunas, as well as 11 conference rooms with a capacity for more than 1,000 delegates at a time, writes rts.rs.
The resort is part of the Strategic Master Plan for the Development of Tourism in Fruška Gora, which was adopted by the Government of Serbia in 2021, and which was developed by two world companies.
More than 110 hotels worldwide
"Movenpick" was founded in Switzerland and has more than 110 hotels and resorts around the world, as well as another 50 planned for 2025.
It is part of the "Accor" group, which has more than 5,300 real estates and 10,000 catering facilities in 110 countries.
