The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has published the tender for the designing and construction of 58 road crossings in Serbia.
The tender is split into two lots. The first pertains to 36 rail (road) crossings on the following rail routes:
- Ruma-Šabac-crossing Donja Borina-state border-(Zvornik-Novi)
- Beograd centar-Pančevo glavna-Vršac-state border-(Stamora Moravita)
- Subotica-Bogojevo-state border-(Erdut)
- Vrbas-Sombor
- Lapovo-Kraljevo-Lesak-Kosovo Polje-Đeneral Janković-state border-(Volkovo)
- Stalać-Kraljevo-Požega
- Crveni krst-Zaječar-Port of Prahovo
- Belgrade-Mladenovac-Lapovo-Niš-Preševo-state border-(Tabanovce)
- Pančevo glavna-Zrenjanin-Kikinda-state border-(Jimbolia)
- Belgrade-Resnik-Požega-Vrbnica-state border.
The second lot will cover 22 road crossings on the railways Belgrade-Resnik-Požega-Vrbnica-state border and Belgrade-Mladenovac-Lapovo-Niš-Preševo-state border-(Tabanovce).
The tender says that the aim is to increase the safety on the road-rail crossings, and the procurement, the estimated value of which is not cited, is financed with the proceeds from the loan of the World Bank, within the project of facilitating the trade and transport in the Western Balkans.
The tender is open until January 11, 2023, and it is estimated that the job could start in February and take a maximum of 18 months.
The competent ministry has also published the tender for the services of technical control and supervision over the projects for the improvement of rail-road crossings in Serbia.
This tender expires on November 25.
