The Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Goran Vesić, stated that, despite the crisis at the global level, 40 billion dinars have been allocated to the budget of this ministry in order to complete all projects in accordance with the plans.

Vesić announced that the Surčin-Novi Belgrade high-speed road will be completed in March next year, which will enable faster access to the "Miloš Veliki" highway from New Belgrade and Zemun.

The bypass around Belgrade to Bubanj potok, as he said, will be completed by June 1, and after that all transit traffic can be moved from the center of the capital.

According to him, although freight traffic across the "Gazelle" bridge in transit is now prohibited, this is not respected in practice, which is why portals with surveillance cameras will be installed there, as well as on other roads where it is already prohibited or will be prohibited transit freight traffic.

The minister stated that the 18-kilometer section of the Moravian Corridor, from Pojat to Makrešan, will be ready at the beginning of April, and the 28-kilometer section to Koševo, above Kruševac, by the end of September, which will connect that city with Corridor 10.

Also, as he added, the Ministry will pay special attention to increasing road safety, and a special sector will be created to deal with that serious problem.

When it comes to changes to the Law on Planning and Construction, he said that this legal solution is good, but that it is time to change and adjust it to make it even more effective.

"Namely, the essence is that the law ensures greater transparency - location conditions will be issued through the e-space and will no longer be on paper, while investors will have to provide an insurance policy before registering the works, so that, in the event of an accident, the injured parties can collect damage," said the minister, reports the website of the Government of Serbia.

Also, as he added, before obtaining a building permit, investors will have to provide proof of the movement of construction waste and that it has been handed over to the operator, so that wild landfills are not created throughout the country.

"Some procedures will be simplified and accelerated, especially around location conditions and location information." We want to stimulate green construction, so everything the state builds will have to have a green construction certificate, as well as complexes larger than 10,000 square meters," Vesić specified.

He noted that investors who build ecologically will pay lower contributions for construction land.
