The Czech company CPI Property Group has announced the construction of the second phase of STOP SHOP in Subotica, which, after expansion, will be one of the largest and most successful retail parks in Serbia. With an additional 5,500 square meters of commercial space, the total sales area of this modern retail format will reach 15,500 m2.

The construction of the second phase of STOP SHOP in Subotica is planned for next year, and the opening is expected in the last quarter of 2024. The expansion of capacity will further improve the mix of tenants by offering new international and domestic brands, which will enable the people of Subotica to satisfy the widest range of needs in one place with the best shopping experience and a variety of entertainment for all generations.

STOP SHOP retail parks are attractive to customers for several reasons. They are available in 14 cities across Serbia, in locations with good traffic connections, so they are easily accessible to residents of surrounding towns. In addition to a wide range of products and services with a favorable price-quality ratio in one place, this retail format also includes a spacious parking lot, a space for walking under the open sky in a green environment, and a lot of entertainment for the whole family.

Since the opening of the first Stop Shop in Čačak in 2015, this brand has expanded its chain of retail parks in our country to a total of 14. At the same time, it has expanded the capacities of existing facilities (the second phase was built in Požarevac, Vršac, and Sremska Mitrovica) and will have over 126,000 m2 of fully leased sales space after the opening of the second phase of works in Sremska Mitrovica on August 24.


STOP SHOP is the brand of retail parks of the company IMMOFINANZ, which is owned by CPI Property Group and has over 130 STOP SHOP locations in ten European countries in Central and Eastern Europe. These are local retail stores that cover areas of 30,000 to 150,000 inhabitants and that offer a wide range of products with a favorable price-service ratio.
