Photo: freepik.comThe City of Sremska Mitrovica has published the tender for the preparation of the complete project-technical documentation for the construction of an IT center in that city.
The facility is planned on the corner of Železnička and Fruškogorska streets, on an area between 1,800 square meters and 2,000 square meters, as a single-floor, possibly two-floor, facility.
The basic conception of the facility is the regional hub of the IT industry, as a place where interested companies can position their business activities, according to the project task.
That entails a part of the space in the form of “multi” or “open space” parts of the floors, which are flexible for organization in accordance with the spatial needs of the users.
The ground floor must feature the main multifunctional hall, which will have all the characteristics of a movie theater, a hall for multimedia presentations, as well as the option of serving as an amphitheater in case there’s a need to organize educational gatherings.
The desire of the procuring entity, it is said, is to create a modern multifunctional facility which would bring a new quality to the city, so the hall needs to be able to function independently of the operating regime of the rest of the facility, that is, to welcome visitors in the evening hours and on weekends too.
It is also desirable, but not mandatory, to use and incorporate, in architectural terms, the front and parts of the façade of the existing Military Home facility.
The plan is also for the facility to have a garage on the basement level, with a minimum of 2 spaces equipped with electric chargers.
Also, the IT center should potentially be an A energy grade facility.
The tender is open until October 17.
