The Cortex Village project, which will be developed near the shopping malls City Mall and BIG Shopping along the coast of Morača, was unveiled in Podgorica on Tuesday. This residential area should provide a solution to the housing shortage for employees in the domestic IT sector. The project was initiated by 19 IT companies, which will provide full support for their 115 employees and their families, reports investor.me.

In this way, the association of Montenegrin IT companies, ICT Cortex, members of the cluster, as well as project partners, will contribute to the creation of an environment that will reduce the departure of IT experts from Montenegro and provide them with a better and safer future in their country, said ICT Cortex. The member companies agreed to take over the payment of all interest during the period of the loan, which will last from 20 to 25 years for employees who are interested.
The settlement includes five buildings with 115 residential units on an area of 12.5 thousand square meters. Cortex Village will also consist of green areas, an underground garage, a parking lot, a fitness center, a park, a children's playground, a community center, and areas for children. The goal of the project is to bring numerous intangible values to the city and to include the values of the village more in the urban environment.
