The project of the construction of the Belgrade Subway cost the citizens 4.4 billion dinars in 2022, whereas, in 2023, the plan is to set aside 30 billion dinars (around 255 million euros), writes Nova Ekonomija.
That sum of 30 billion dinars for the subway is in the 2023 budget proposal and is a capital transfer to the City of Belgrade by the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.
In 2023, the Republic of Serbia will also be able to secure a loan of 80 million euros for the Belgrade Subway (Phase One) with “foreign funds and governments”, as well as a loan of 1 billion euros with “foreign investment corporations, funds and banks”, reads the budget proposal.
