Photo: ekapija.comWorks on the construction of the Center of Excellence in Kragujevac are coming to an end. During the summer and autumn, masonry and painting works, pouring of screeds and ceramic works, installation of doors and windows as well as plastering works were carried out.
Exterior decoration with greening, works on construction of roads and traffic signals, procurement, delivery and installation of five elevators, hydrotechnical and electric power installations, as well as electrical works are in progress. The works are carried out according to the dynamics foreseen in the annexes of the contract.
The Center of Excellence will be able to carry out scientific research for the economy after the completion of construction. It concerns research in the fields of biomedical sciences, stem cells, biomedical engineering, information technologies and other fields that are being developed at the University of Kragujevac.
This multi-purpose building is made up of three blocks, interconnected lamellas, and covers about 11,500 square meters. The value of the works is around 10.5 million euros, and financing was provided by the European Investment Bank, the city of Kragujevac and the University of Kragujevac.
Thanks to this project carried out by Inobačka d.o.o. Serbia will get one of the most important scientific research centers in the fields of biomedical, biotechnical and natural-mathematical sciences.
