IN MONTENEGRO 322 MILLION EUROS OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENTS IN REAL ESTATE IN NINE MONTHS

The total inflow of foreign direct investments (FDI) in Montenegro at the end of September was 847.83 million euros.

At the same time, 248.8 million euros flowed out of the country, according to preliminary data from the Central Bank (CBCG).

"The net inflow of foreign direct investments amounted to 599.03 million euros, which is 70.03 percent more compared to the same period last year," it is stated in the CBCG Bulletin, reports Vijesti.

The total inflow of foreign direct investments increased by 41.32 percent compared to the comparative period, which is the result of the growth of equity investments.

92.48 million euros flowed out of the country on the basis of investments by residents abroad, while withdrawals of funds by non-residents invested in Montenegro amounted to 156.32 million euros.

The inflow of foreign direct investments in the form of equity investments amounted to 465.05 million euros, which is 54.85 percent of the total. Of this, 322.2 million euros were invested in real estate, and 142.85 million euros in companies and banks.

The inflow of FDI in the form of intercompany debt amounted to 316.28 million euros, which is 37.3 percent of the total inflow.
