Photo: freepik.comIn June 2022, the number of 2,187 building permits was issued, presenting the decrease of 9.7% when compared to June 2021, according to the latest report by Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.
Out of the total number of permits issued in June 2022, 78.1% related to buildings, and 21.9% to civil engineering constructions.
When only buildings are concerned, 79.0% of permits related to residential buildings, and 21.0% to non–residential ones, while regarding civil engineering constructions the largest number related to pipelines, communication and electric power lines (75.4%).
According to the permits issued in June 2022 in the Republic of Serbia, the construction of 3,629 dwellings with average useful floor space of 71.9 m2 was recorded.
Out of the total number of dwellings in new residential buildings, 8.9% of dwellings will be built in single-dwelling buildings, with average useful floor space of 142.6 m², and 90.0% of dwellings will be in buildings with three and more dwellings, with significantly smaller average useful floor space of 63.8 m².
Observed by areas, the greatest construction activity is expected in Beogradska oblast, 26.5% of the anticipated value of new construction works, followed by Zlatiborska oblast (13.9%), Rasinska oblast (12.2%), Južnobačka oblast (8.6%) and Sremska oblast (7.1%), while the shares of other areas went from 0.1% up to 5.7%.
