Photo: PixabaySerbian citizens are increasingly buying apartments in Albania, because the price per square meter there is five times lower than similar real estate in our country. The price per square meter starts from 330 euros and up, even on the coast, starting from Durrës, Valona through Saranda to the southernmost point - Ksamil.
By the way, since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Albania has experienced an expansion in terms of the number of realized tourist arrangements for tourists from Serbia, because they did not have rigorous measures for entering the country, so our people saw the tourist potential of this country after their vacation there.
Aleksandar Seničić, director of the National Association of Tourist Agencies (Utah), told Kurir that this country has become a hit in recent years precisely because of low prices.
"The prices of square meters there are much more favorable than in other countries, from 600 to 1,000 euros per square meter." Serbs in Greece have been buying real estate for 10 years, mostly in the north, and somewhat less in the south. The tourism potential of Albania has recently been recognized, so our people are already buying apartments there too," he said.
And indeed, the offer there is very colorful and for everyone's pocket. In a newly built building in Golem near Durrës, just five minutes from the beach, apartments with a sea view are sold from 430 euros per square meter. Some of them overlook the sea, are waiting for the new owner to choose even the tiles, and are 50 square meters in size.
In Saranda, which is known as a tourist destination, apartments can be found for 330 euros per square meter. Thus, an apartment of 50 square meters can be found on internet classifieds for 16,500 euros.
For those who would like to buy a larger apartment, one of 70 square meters can be bought for 30,000 euros, which is 429 euros per square meter.
Also, real estate can be bought for a little money in Valona, a coastal Albanian city, at the point where the Adriatic Sea meets the Ionian Sea. An apartment of 72 square meters is sold in the ads for 25,000 euros, which is 347 euros per square meter.
