Photo: PixabayAccording to the data collected in the third quarter of 2022, value of construction works done on the territory of the Republic of Serbia increased 2.7% at current prices, while, at constant prices, decrease was recorded, amounting to 13.5% relative to the third quarter of 2021. Value of performed works on buildings decreased 17.7%, and on civil engineering 11.0%, at constant prices.
Observed by regions of the Republic of Serbia, value of construction works done in this quarter, relative to the same quarter 2021, increased at constant prices only in Region Šumadije i Zapadne Srbije 6.4%, while it decreased in other regions, as follows: in Region Vojvodine 8.7%, in Beogradski Region 25.0%, and in Region Južne i Istočne Srbije 34.1%.
Out of the total value of works done, 94.7% were performed on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, while the rest of 5.3% was performed on building sites abroad.
Value of works done by the contractors from the Republic of Serbia in the third quarter 2022, regarding works performed on the territory of the Republic of Serbia and abroad, increased 4.8% relative to the same quarter 2021, at current prices, while at constant prices, it decreased 11.7%.
