The Tourist Organization of Serbia announced that the Michelin gastronomic guide has published its new selection for Serbia. For the second year in a row, the gastronomic offer of our capital has been recognized for its quality and variety.

In the Michelin gastronomic guide for 2023, a total of 17 capital restaurants were found, of which Iva New Balkan Cuisine once again carries the prestigious "Bib Gourmand" label. The "Bib Gourmand" accolade, named after the official Michelin mascot named Bibendum, is awarded to restaurants of the highest gastronomic quality that offer excellent value for money.

The Belgrade restaurants that have been placed in the recommended category are, like last year, Salon 1905, Gušti mora, JaM, Enso, Homa, Magellan, The Square, Legat 1903, Ebisu, Comunale Cafè e Cucina, Mezestoran Dvorište, Langouste and Bela Reka. New recommended restaurants are Metropolitan Grill at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Skylounge at the Hilton Hotel and Twenty Two at the Metropol Palace Hotel.

In accordance with the usual practice in all Michelin destinations, the selection of restaurants in Belgrade was carried out by anonymous and independent inspectors, and the restaurants were evaluated in accordance with the general and uniform criteria of the Michelin guide. - With the new selection, Belgrade continues to be the choice of Michelin, which contributes to the reputation of our capital as a recommended destination for rich and varied gastronomic experiences, according to TOS.

The Tourist Organization of Serbia continues to support the positioning of Serbia as a gastronomic destination on the international stage. "The reinstatement of Serbia on the Michelin world gastronomic map confirms the continuous quality of our catering offer, which in this way keeps pace with the world's best gastronomic destinations. In addition, we are pleased with the increased number of Michelin recommended restaurants compared to the previous selection, which speaks of the incentive that entry into the prestigious guide gives to raising the quality of the domestic gastronomic offer. For the Tourist Organization of Serbia, the additional media attention that follows this selection is very important, which draws attention to Serbia as a tourist destination and contributes to the further growth of the number of tourists," says Marija Labović, MA, director of the Tourist Organization of Serbia.
