Photo: Belgrade WaterfrontBelgrade residents and visitors to the capital were greeted by eight-minute fireworks, intertwined laser beams, and light effects on the Kula Beograd to welcome the year 2022. This one-of-a-kind performance was accompanied with music produced especially for the occasion and inspired by local culture and heritage. The Sava Promenada, where a stage was built up near the Old Sava Bridge and an open-air concert was staged, was the ideal place to observe fireworks.
The spectacular countdown from the Tower's facade was the prelude to the fireworks, which were also launched from the New Belgrade shore, from eight systems with up to 250 places, accompanied by 55 powerful lasers. The pyrotechnics were organized in collaboration with Fireworks by Grucci, a world leader in fireworks events of this sort, as a present from Belgrade Waterfront to fellow citizens and visitors of the capital.
